Adi Mulahalilović is a multi-platinum award music composer and producer from Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, based in West Hollywood, California. Adi's professional music career started in 1986 when he joined the band Hari Mata Hari as a pianist as well as a composer. From 1987 until 1991 they became one of the most popular bands in ex-Yugoslavia. As a band member, Adi is a receiver of all notable discography recognitions including the Golden Bird, Diamond Record, Platinum records (Jugoton), etc.

In 1991 Adi left the band and produced his brother Edo Mulahalilović’s platinum album “Jedna je pjesma cijelog života” but the war in ex-Yugoslavia prevented any further promotion and tour. During the siege of Sarajevo from 1992 to 1995, Adi together with Edo managed to work on a variety of cultural and performing arts projects, including composing the song “Ostani kraj mene” (Stay with me) which represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in the 1994 Eurosong contest held in Ireland.

From 1996 to 2008, Adi & Edo composed and produced numerous albums for different pop artists, reaching out a few more platinum and gold awarded albums (Warner Chappell/Unirecords). After Edo passed away in 2010, Adi moved to California and made a long break in his music career. In 2020 he started creating music again, for film & documentaries. In 2022 Adi has released his first solo album - Muzikanti (Trovadores) with a bonus track - Poleti.

“I believe that the right song at the right time has a power to heal the heart, ennoble the soul, bring the light and understanding among the people. By writing songs I hope to give a little grain of optimism and love.”

Album MUZIKANTI (TROVADORES)

“Album Muzikanti is a compilation of songs that have matured along with me. Some of them were written by my brother and I in besieged Sarajevo from 1992 to 1995. Throughout the years, I continued writing songs which were inspired by my travels around the world. I have chosen eleven of them for the album that was completed “during the siege” of Covid-19. The songs are recorded unplugged with musicians from all over the world.”
